To setup a mailbox using Gmail use the instructions below, the details to use for your mailbox can be found

Gmail and then click the
Settings cog in the top right corner and then 'Settings' in the drop down menu
[*]From this screen select
Accounts and then
Check mail from other accounts > Add a mail account:
[*]On the
Add a mail account screen enter your mailbox name and click 'Next'
[*]On the subsequent screen enter your mailbox details and click 'Add Account'
[*]If you just want to check email then you're done at this point, if you want to send email select 'Yes' and click 'Next'
[*]Confirm details (we suggest not sending as an alias but more info can be found on that link) and click 'Next Step'
[*]Add your SMTP details and click 'Add Account'
[*]You will then receive a verification code to the address, enter the code and click 'Verify' and your mailbox is setup for sending and receiving

*** Unfortunately, Gmail no longer support IMAP connetions for external mailboxes so you'll need to use this mailbox via POP meaning you won't be able to sync across devices using Gmail any longer. ***
