This article covers hosted/UK domains or those registered/transferred October 2017 onwards, for the guide on domains that have no hosting attached and were registered/transferred prior to October 2017 please click here.

Once you have accessed the Manage DNS option you will be presented with a list of the current DNS that are setup for the domain as well as options to use the wizard to auto-configure DNS for G Suite (E-mail Only), G Suite (All Services), or Office 365 Mail. You can remove any of the existing records by clicking Remove and then scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking the Update DNS button (the changes will not be saved until this step is undertaken).

If you scroll to the bottom of this page you will also find the section to add new DNS records, enter the subdomain you want to use in the Domain field (eg. shop to setup shop.yourdomain.com or leave blank to take effect on the domain itself) and set what type of record you want in the dropdown field (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, SRV, TXT). Finally, set the target for this entry in the Data field, either an IP address for an A/AAAA record, the hostname for a CNAME/MX/SRV record or the text value for a TXT record. Again, you will need to click the Update DNS button for the changes to be saved and take effect on the domain.

In order for these changes to take effect the domain will need to be pointed to our nameservers:

ns1.eco-dns.co.uk
ns2.eco-dns.co.uk
ns3.eco-dns.co.uk
ns4.eco-dns.co.uk
